This is a safe and convenient moxibustion device anyone can use with great ease. Outer shell is made of lightweight wood while the inner jar is made of red clay which radiates far-infrared.
One of the best features of this particular device is the included strap belt with Velcro closure. The belt allows you to plant the device firmly on any area you desire- knee, shoulder, arm. So you can use the device safely and conveniently with your hands free for other tasks. The inner clay jar can be adjusted in its height which in turn, allows you to control the amount of heat felt on your skin.
NOTE: Direct moxibustion, indirect moxibustion, and/or warm needle moxibustion should always be administered under the direction or supervision of a qualified practitioner. Do not leave patients unattended during any moxa use. When using needle moxa, a protective shield, (i.e. aluminum foil), must be placed under and around the needle to protect the skin from loose or ash.
